"Exploring College Options" "Exploring College Options" Program Goes Virtual:
Exploring College Options is a special informational program sponsored by the undergraduate admissions offices of five of the country's leading universities: Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University. This June they are pleased to invite you and your family to join Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, and Stanford for a virtual hour of conversation to help you explore your college options and prepare to apply in this time of change and new challenges.

Admission officers from their four universities will introduce their institutions, discuss the college exploration and application processes, and provide updates on how we are adapting to COVID-19.  They also look forward to answering your questions.  Later this summer and fall, they will invite you to region-specific programming with their institutions that will take a closer look at each individual school and how to put together a strong and reflective application.

Be sure to call the college in advance to verify the date and time as some of these dates may change.  Some schools request that you register before coming to an open house. Many schools besides those listed offer open houses.  Call your prospective colleges and universities for their schedule.
It is an excellent idea to include both open houses and college tours in your college exploration.  The open house allows you to see many of the activities available on campus while the traditional college tour lets you experience the college in a more typical environment.
